Click the images below for bigger versions:The Barrie Royals Midget Girls won the Gold medal in Division 1 at the Ontario Basketaball (OBA) Provincial Championships last weekend. The team was ranked #2 entering the tournament and defeated the Scarborough Blues 48 to 43 in an exciting Gold medal game played at Laurier University.
Congratulations to coaches Todd Smith, Ken Schweitzer and the girls for capturing the Barrie Royals first GOLD medal in the club's history of teams competing in OBA Division One!!
